Puckmasters Coach Earns EJHL All-Star Selection
Burto named to annual game for the most elite junior players in the northeast.

MARLBOROUGH, MA: Matt Burto, a personal coach at Puckmasters Marlborough and forward for the Boston Junior Bruins, has been named to the Eastern Junior Hockey League?s annual All-Star game. The event will be played at Babson College on Thursday January 15th.
A native of Orange, CT, Burto led the Junior Bruins squad in scoring with 25 goals and 27 assists for 52 points in 39 games played (as of 12/27/03). He also led the team with eight game winning goals, boasts a +31 +/- rating, and also logged 56 minutes in penalties.
This years event will feature a unique format with a total of 76 skaters competing in two separate 4-4 games. The format is designed to allow greater space in hopes of providing a greater opportunity for the players to showcase their skills. Game one will begin at 7:30 pm while game two will start at 9 pm.
Burto will attend the University of Massachusetts, and play for the Minutemen beginning next fall. UMass competes in Hockey East?arguably the top College Hockey Conference in the country. He currently teaches and trains at Puckmasters Marlborough daily.
